1. Abnormal Tongue and Pulse Signs (Early Signs Hidden Within the Body's Subtle Changes)

Tongue Signs:

  • Dark purple tongue body with blood stasis spots

  • Distended, dark purple sublingual veins

  • Thick greasy coating, or peeled/no coating, or with cracks

Pulse Signs:

  • Irregular pulse: knotted (intermittent slow), intermittent, or rapid and irregular

  • Deep and thin, or thin and choppy pulses (suggesting heart Qi or Yang deficiency, or blood stasis obstructing the vessels)

These tongue and pulse signs often indicate blood stasis in the heart, declining heart Yang, or disharmony between the Heart and Kidneys — all of which are serious TCM warning signs of potential cardiac problems.

2. Self-Observable Early Symptoms (⚠️ Warning Signals Not to Be Ignored)

These are warning signs that patients can detect without machines — either by themselves or with the help of a TCM practitioner.

Pay attention to these subtle "body alarms" before more serious cardiac events occur.
